Equitable Entrepreneurial Ecosystem (NHE3)

With an engagement with Forward Cities, the Community Foundation of Greater New Haven aims to convene leaders, community members, and entrepreneurs in implementing projects to build a more equitable entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Economic Justice Fund Stipends

Launching in 2021, stipends for Black-owned professional services and technical assistance build capacity and resiliency in Black-owned businesses receiving direct capital from ConnCAT / ConnCORP’s Economic Justice Fund.

Economic Development Fellowship

New staff and five university fellows launched a business visitation program, before pivoting to provide emergency support to businesses navigating government pandemic assistance, alongside a webinar series and a new pro bono consulting program.

Launching in January 2021, KNOWNpreneurs is a 4-month business program to support BIPOC-owned businesses adapting their business and products for growth in the post-pandemic world, supported by a team of mentors and resources at KNOWN Co-working.
